computer crash

well, my computer was dropped on the tile in our house and it crashed. it is being fixed as i type and hopefully will be returned to me quickly. they are transfering my data on an external hard drive (that i had to purchase). Paul is going to get that for me now and hopefully i can get to my pictures so i can post more details of our trip and Cole's bday party we had last night.

nature walk

we went driving through the rocky mountain national park and pulled over at a site where we could take a dip in the cooolllddd river and take a nature walk. i tried to cary Cole on my back but he weighs too much. so my uncle took over. then we drove up to the top of the continental divide.

our house we rented w/a perfect view

this house had 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms - one had a big screen the other was part of a game room with a pool table and card table. the kitchen was awesome w/ granite counter tops and stainless steel apliances. we had a great time! one morning we saw a hot air balloon taking off for a morning ride. the first picture here is the view we had from our balcony off the kitchen.

our stop in raton

after leaving my grandparents on Friday, June 16, we stopped overnight in Raton, NM. here we are at a local steak house. very good food. after that, while driving through the town, we located an outdoor festival where local vendors set up shop to showcase their wares. it was the towns first one.

we are back in town

we are back and i will post some vacation pics this week. i have loads of laundry and need to pay bills and get ready for Cole's 1st bday..... AND get ready to go out of town again! :) for a family reunion.
