and to top it all off.....

to top it all off....my house cleaner didn't show up today cuz she said she got in too late from partying last night and was tired and needed to go shoping for a car. you see 2 weeks ago, she told me she was in a car accident and hurt her leg so she couldn't come then. so, after getting only about a couple hours of sleep and feeling crudy, i gotta clean up after ourselves over the weekend. i know, i shouldn't complain..... but of all days, i could have really used her today! i should enjoy her while i can, cuz when we move to the apartment, i am on my own in the cleaning department.

update

last night was a crazy night for me. cole was awake at 1:30 screaming. so i gave in and gave him a bottle to calm him down. he's been sick all week and the mucus in his chest and nose is finally breaking up and he's coughing it up. do you get the picture? Ha. anyhow, he went back to sleep finally after 2:00. then he awoke again just before 6:00 screaming. so i get up AGAIN, and fix him another bottle but he doesn't want to go back to bed. so i pop in a baby einstine dvd and he watches with glee and i try to grab some zzzz's on the couch. well, that lasted till about 7:30 when i turned on PBS. he watched that till sesame street came on and began crying again. soooo, i made him his favorite breakfast, oatmeal with applesauce, and he only at half. then he played for a while only to start crying again. so i gave him some tylenol and put him down to bed. tonight, i will administer the cough syrup (i didn't give it last night cuz he wasn't coughing as much) and tylenol and see if we both can get some shut eye.

i have to brag on my husband. he had to leave the house this morning at 4:30 am. with that in mind, he got up when he heard me in the kitchen giving cole his 1:30 am bottle and wanted to know if i needed help. what a sweety. i was trying to be quiet (but i forgot to shut our door). i just told him to go back to bed and i had it covered. he was so sleepy when the alarm went off at 4:00. i had only been asleep for about an hour due to my coughing. i am so tired now. so i must go and take a nap. :) i pray this is over soon! and life can get back to some normalsy.

be praying that i can sell all my junk i just posted on our local version of ebay. we need to downsize and save money for moving, christmas, etc. :)

we're moving

well, today after much thought and searching we have decided to move to some apartments at the back of kingwood. we had originally thought we were moving to the apartments in fall creek (off the beltway) but paul didn't have a good feeling about them. they were nice and big and new but being off the beltway, it wasn't as safe. so we went driving around and found Harbor Walk at Kings Harbor. They are building a replica of the river walk in san antonio very near to the apartments. So, we got on a waiting list and as soon as we hear from the apartment people, we will have 2 months to move in.

we are now in the 'selling all the crap' mode. i have listed several items on our local version of ebay. so lets all pray that we can sell the crap in time to save money for our trip we are taking to new york in december.

i will post pics later. i am fighting off being sick and don't have the energy to get up and get the camera. :)

well, here i go. this is to satisfy all those out there complaining that i don't blog regularly. i get busy and forget. also our wifi sucks. i keep getting kicked off....so i have just not gotten on in a long while. tonight we celebrated paul's bday by going out to eat at a favorite indian resturant of ours. we had a babysitter and all, and we couldn't find anything to do after eating. so we just came home and surfed the tv for hours. yehaw. so i hope to post more. also, i need to find my camera. :)

COLE WALKED

COLE JUST TOOK 5 OR 6 STEPS ACROSS MY KITCHEN TODAY. FROM ONE SET OF CABINET DOORS TO THE OTHER.

HE'S GROWING UP SO FAST!

well, the tech. guy from the cable company showed up today on time (praise God) to fix our internet. it has been down since friday night. it took him all of 5 min. to fix it. i asked him why couldn't they tell me over the phone how to fix it, and he didn't know why. he said something about new management and new employees and not being able to keep everyone aware of how to fix it. whatever....all i am upset about it i could have had it fixed before now.

anyhow, something wonderful has happend. i have re-connected with one of my cousins. we have always been friends and close because we are family, but God brought us together in a different way. we are now praying together and fasting one day a week. now she lives in NY and i live in TX but that doens't stop us. it so great to have someone who you can call up and have them pray for you about something you are going through. we also realized that we are actually in the same season and God is speaking almost the same things to us. we both have husbands that almost exactly alike in personality and giftings. i just thank God for brining her back in to my life like this.

well, now that i have the internet working again, i'l try to get more pics up.
