another boo boo

cole is now running instead of walking. here is his latest 'ouwy'. (look at the right eye) the second pic is him crying for me to put down the camera and feed him his yogurt. :)

today was a crazy day. i drove aaaaalllllll the way to the Social Security office to get Cole's social security card and got the stroller out and was about to get Cole out and realized i left aaaalllllll the paperwork at home. AUGH!!!!

so i drove home, got the paperwork and went back. thank goodness i was home before the friday rush hour traffic started!

here is cole today at school going on a buggy ride. i was hiding in the office and my sister in law was taking the picture. if he had seen me, he would have started crying.

I am getting ready to go back to work so I am putting Cole into my mother-in-laws daycare twice a week to get ready for full time. Here are some pictures of this morning.

OMG

you guys will not believe what happend to us last friday night. we had gone to bed and were talking when all of a sudden, we heard a loud popping noise...like a bang. we shot out of bed. paul had grabbed the gun (semi automatic 45) and had a bullet in the chamber in like 30 seconds. i let toby out of his cage so he could go into the living room first :).... we thought we heard it coming from the kitchen...so we slowly went to investigate... paul opend up the freezer cuz he thought it came from there.... all of a sudden i remembered i had put a diet cola in the freezer to cool down fast and forgot about it. when we looked inside, there was frozen cola everywhere and the bottom of the coke can looked like someone took a knife and cut the bottom off. we were laughing our heads off. then as we were getting back to bed, i got a 'free' lesson on gun safety. :)

beautiful weather

ahhhh, it was 68 when i got up this morning and went for a walk. i will only walk when its cool like this. cole and i had a great time. i had forgotten how pretty our neighbor hood is. now i am back home with the windows open and doin' laundry....yipeee!

lets pray for The Dog

i don't know if you guys are following the Duane Chapman story, but we need to pray for his family as he is being charged with wrongful seisure of a person in Mexico. He helped bring a convicted rapist back to the US after this guy fled to Mexico. Because its illegal to bounty hunt in Mexico, the Dog and his possee where arrested. That was 3 years ago. its official....

my son loves spinach..... frozen of course..no bag spinach here. he totally loved it. we had such a good day today. went for a walk, played in the park, ate lunch with the doors open, listening to the birds chirping. ahh, i love autumn.

wind farm

here are some pics of a wind farm located near amarillo. paul's company is working with a wind farm company to put one up near ft. worth in jacksborough.

we're home

we got back last night from traveling up to pampa, texas (a little town near Amarillo). on the way home we stopped at grandmother's for some good cookin' from my aunt (mexican chicken) and homemade icecreme from my uncle (butterfingers). yummmmmm! here are some recent pictures taken of cole. he's walking everywhere, but still looks like he's had too much of grandpa's receipe. :)
